Good Earth Collective

original anglicana: hook filled acoustic roots music

Hayley Ewing (Director - Butefest)

"You Were All ABSOLUTELY AMAZING..."

Good Earth Collective perform the hook-filled, original acoustic roots music of songwriter Steve Ansell. Their sound blends sweet harmonies, powerful delivery, and tender melodies — wrapped in dry wit and insightful lyricism.

With fiddle and rhythm-driven arrangements, they draw inspiration from punk, country, folk, and pop, in a style they affectionately call Anglicana. Whether performing as a full band or a stripped-back trio, they bring warmth, humour and emotional resonance to every stage. Based in the hills of West Yorkshire, UK, they’ve built a reputation for expansive festival sets and intimate live shows and a collaborative spirit that invites listeners into a shared experience.
